Vegan Bifteck Sauté Bercy

[Vegan Pan-broiled Steak, with Shallot and White Wine Sauce]

...if you want to make your own seitan steak...you can follow the instructions in the VEGAN BIFTECK SAUTÉ AU BEURRE...but you could also use some prepared vegan steak as well...
...and then the first thing you need to do is sauté the vegan steak and then set it aside...
...then chop up some scallion or green onion...
...and using the same pan that you cooked the steack in...add some vegan butter and cook the green onions for a minute or so...
...then add the white wine...scraping up an bits from the bottom of the pan...
...and then off heat...stir in softened vegan butter until the sauce has thickened...
...spread the butter over the steak and serve...
...this was really...really good...

Substitutions:

Vegan steak...whatever kind you like...
Vegan butter...we used Earth Balance...
